Hofheim am Taunus, 23rd June 2026 – enclaive, a leading provider of innovative Confidential Computing solutions, has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001 by Proks Certification GmbH for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). For customers in regulated industries, this significantly reduces the effort required for vendor risk assessments, especially as enclaive complements the certificate with pre-filled SIG-Lite and CAIQ questionnaires. The German startup thus reinforces its position as are liable partner for organisations with the highest security requirements.
Insectors like finance & insurance, healthcare, or the public sector, ISO/IEC 27001 plays a pivotal role in procurement processes. The standard provides regulatory certainty by covering a large portion of the measures required by frameworks such as NIS-2 or DORA – which must also be enforced throughout the supply chain. Consequently, the question of whether service providers andvendors can meet high resilience requirements has become just as critical asarchitecture or pricing. In practice, ISO/IEC 27001 certification has become the “entry ticket” for tenders and contract awarding overall.
“ISO27001 is almost mandatory in regulated industries – and that is where we see our primary growth trajectory," emphasises enclaive CEO Andreas Walbrodt. "In sectors with high security requirements, demand for Confidential Computing is currently growing almost exponentially. With this certification – supplemented by pre-filled SIG-Lite and CAIQ questionnaires – we are now significantly accelerating our customers’ compliance and risk assessment processes. For us, streamlined procurement on the customer side translates directly into faster growth.”
The certification provides companies and public institutions with the assurance that enclaive offers information security at the highest level, not only technologically but also organisationally. The scope is defined as “the design, development, deployment, operation, and maintenance of the confidential computing platform and related services, including confidential virtual machines (cVMs), confidential Kubernetes clusters (cK8s), and confidential AI computing solutions, offered as managed or self-hosted software across multi-cloud environments. This includes all supporting business processes, infrastructure, personnel, and physical locations involved in delivering these services, with a particular focus on ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data and intellectual property.”
Walbrodt adds: “Our technology stands for maximum data security – and we live this in our daily operations, too. I am therefore very pleased that, as a young company, we have managed to meet the complex requirements of this certification. My thanks and congratulations to the entire team.”
